Six people, including five children, were killed and one woman was injured in a horrific car crash on Interstate 24 in Tennessee early Sunday morning. The accident occurred around 1 a.m. Sunday morning when a Ford Focus, driven by a woman in her 20s, collided with a Chevy Tahoe. The woman driving the Ford Focus was airlifted to a local hospital and is in stable condition. The five children in the Tahoe, ranging in age from 4 to 14, were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Tahoe, a man in his 30s, was also pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the accident is still under investigation, but it is believed that the Ford Focus was traveling at a high rate of speed when it collided with the Tahoe.
