Manchester United and Juventus have advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2022/23 Europa League after strong performances in the Round of 16. Manchester United put in a dominant performance to beat Real Betis 5-1 on aggregate, with goals from Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford, and Mason Greenwood helping them to victory. Feyenoord also put on a show, defeating Shakhtar Donetsk 8-2 on aggregate. Unfortunately, Premier League leaders Arsenal were unable to join their rivals in the quarterfinals, crashing out in a penalty shoot-out against Sporting CP. The Gunners put in a valiant effort, with Nicolas Pepe scoring a penalty in the second leg to level the tie, but ultimately it was not enough. The quarterfinals of the 2022/23 Europa League will see Manchester United and Juventus face off against each other, while Feyenoord will take on Dinamo Zagreb and AC Milan will battle against Granada. The matches will take place over two legs, with the first set to kick off on April 8th. With some of the biggest clubs in Europe still in the running, the competition is sure to be fierce as they battle it out for European silverware.
